01 The three golden rules

Clean work, or no work.

If in doubt, leave it out — and ask us.

Rule 1Only your own, new work

Written fresh, for Kaidris, in your own time, on your own computer.

Rule 2Nothing from employers or clients

No code, specs, data, table contents, screenshots or documents from any company system — even if you wrote them there.

Rule 3Nothing from SAP

No SAP standard code, SAP Notes, SAP training material or copy-paste from SAP documentation. Explain things in your own words.

Who can join

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You are not resident in, or acting for anyone in, a sanctioned country, and you are not on a sanctions list.
  • You are not employed by an organisation that the contributor agreement lists as ineligible.
  • If your employment contract requires it, you have your employer’s written consent to contribute in your own time.

02 What to contribute

Six kinds of contribution.

Points count once a submission passes our automatic checks and a short review.

TypeWhat it isPoints
A. Task + solution + testsA realistic ABAP task (like a ticket), your class solving it, and ABAP Unit tests.10
B. Task onlyA realistic task with clear acceptance criteria; we write the solution.3
C. ReviewJudge one of Forge’s answers: correct or not, why, and the better solution if it’s wrong.4
D. Exam task (sealed)Like A, but kept secret and used only to test Forge, never to train it.12
E. GotchaA real-world ABAP / Fiori pitfall or best practice in your own words, with a small example.2
F. UI5 freestyleAn OpenUI5 view + controller (+ QUnit test) for a described screen.10

05 FAQ

Countries, tax and payouts.

Which countries can’t join?

Residents of Cuba, Iran and North Korea, and of the Crimea / Sevastopol, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, cannot join — required by US sanctions law. Residents of Syria, Russia and Belarus cannot join — Kaidris policy. People on a sanctions list cannot join from anywhere.

Who else is not eligible?

You must be 18 or older, and not employed by an organisation that the contributor agreement lists as ineligible. If your employment contract requires it, you need your employer’s written consent.

Do you check sanctions lists?

Yes. We check every contributor’s legal name against the US sanctions list when we approve the registration and again before each payout. A possible match puts payouts on hold until it is reviewed.

Which tax form do I need?

A W-9 if you are a US person; otherwise a W-8BEN. Upload it, signed, in your dashboard before your first payout. Kaidris may withhold tax where the law requires it and gives you the related tax statement. If you are in the EU and invoice as a business, VAT on your side is yours to handle.

I live in Tunisia. Can I be paid?

Usually yes, but payout routes depend on local banking and exchange rules, and you are responsible for following your country’s exchange-control rules. We confirm a working Wise or bank route with you before we promise any payout date.

How am I paid?

In USD, from Kaidris accounts, by bank transfer or Wise — PayPal only where Wise does not serve your country. Your receiving-bank and FX costs are yours. Amounts under $50 roll over and stay owed.
